Malabar is a region of coastline in South-western India. One of its states is Kerala, and it has the nickname ‘Spice garden of India’. Its cooking styles tend to be dominated by the use of coconut, curry leaves, turmeric and black pepper. Of course being coastal, fish plays a large part of the local diet. Our blend will have a medium to hot heat level and will work well with chicken, lamb, beef vegetables and seafood/shellfish. It will have a deep red colour and will have a lovely aromatic aroma filling your kitchen !!
