We move on to 2023 and will no doubt be introducing some new lines to the business. I particularly want to get a Xacutti blend up and running. So see you in the new year and I hope you all have a great 2023 !!!!

I think we have all our Christmas events booked in now, and these will appear on our social media pages. Thanks for your continued support, it is really appreciated.

JULY SALE !!!!!
New products and nutritional information.
Just a quick blog to say that our 'Gunpowder Spice' blend is now available at £4.95 on the main website. It will be a regular at our markets also. Next one to be released will be a Chilli/Garlic Masala blend, that one should be available in a couple weeks or so. We are now able to do a nutritional value table for each product. Please just ask and we will send it to you. As a rough guide our Indian blends are averaging between 80 and 95 calories per portion. The Thai blends are a little more at between 93 and 110 calories per portion. Our small business is holding up well during these financially challenging times, thanks to our incredibly loyal customers, so thank you very much for supporting us....Jeremy....
2022...and all that !!!!
CLOSED FOR IMPORTANT RESEARCH TRIP !!!
Firstly a huge thanks to everyone who has shopped with us over the last year. Year on year we continue to grow at a steady rate and your support is very much appreciated. Regular observers will know that we take our main holiday in January every year (when allowed !!) and this year we will be away somewhere nice and warm to conduct valuable spice research !!!
As a result any orders placed between the 1st January and the 15th January will be attended to on our return to our unit which will be the 16th January.
Hopefully 2022 can provide a bit more certainty for us all, and can i wish all of you a very prosperous new year.
Jeremy and Debbie...
Customer request !!
From time to time we get requests to add certain dishes that customers have had on their travels. Some we get right and some don't quite work out and don't make it to our sales channels. We had a request recently for a Keralan style Malabar curry, and after a couple of trials i am more than happy to add it to our product list. It is a lovely medium/hot curry with its origins in the Keralan/Goan region. We tested it with Chicken, Lamb and King Prawns and it worked really well with all !!!
NEW PRODUCT ADDED !!!
PANCH PHORON. This can also be known as Bengali 5 spice. It is an aromatic mix of Fenugreek, Nigella seeds, Mustard seeds, Cumin seeds and Fennel seeds. Authentically this would not be a fine ground mixture, but the seeds would be left whole. More information on the product page.
Other blends that are being developed are a South Indian Xacuti curry, a Malaysian style Satay and either a Durban or a Cape Malay South African curry blend. The main stumbling block when bringing a new blend on board is the year round availability of the authentic ingredients that of course we need.
Once again many thanks for your support during lockdown, touch wood our regular markets and events will resume in mid April...
