It has took a while but finally we have added our Xacuti blend to the website. Xacuti is a fairly spicy curry from the Goan region, so it has plenty of coconut, star anise and tamarind flavours running through it. If you have a favourite curry that you don't see on the site, we are always willing to create a blend for you.

Here at My Spicy Blends headquarters, we are more than happy to listen to your requests for different types of blends, ingredient kits or seasonings. Just send us a message or come and see us at one of our markets and we will probably use you as a guinea pig !!!!

Speaking of markets all our current events are listed on our updated home page. We are always astonished at how loyal our customers have been over the last 9 years, and we are very grateful that it seems to be continuing.

Finally the weather seems to be improving...just. Standing out at our monthly markets can be a little nippy. But recently it seems to have gone from absolutely freezing to just cold, a sure sign spring is here!!!  We have been a little quiet on the development front just recently, but there are a couple that i will get onto the shelves soon. A couple of people asked for a Kashmiri masala curry blend, so that is on the way, also i will get the Xacuti blend finished shortly !!! Many thanks for your continued support, as we enter our 9th year, it is greatly appreciated.

I realise regular customers will be pretty much used to this almost every September, so here we go again. The brains (really??) behind My Spicy Blends need a recharge. We are off to the Med for our hols. Any orders placed between September 10th and September 23rd, will be processed and shipped after our return to the kitchen on the 24th. As a little sweetener, we will be applying a 25% discount to all those orders. On the checkout page you will see a discount box, in it please write;

Just like a London bus, you wait ages for 1 and then 4 come along. Firstly we have our medium spiced Cambodian Amok blend, then also added is a very spicy Thai Jungle curry. Also new to the list are a Brazilian Sazon seasoning, and lastly a lovely Argentinian style Chimichurri rub. Don't forget we are always happy to produce bespoke rubs and seasonings for you.

Just a quick line to let you know the new blends that we are working on. Firstly we have had quite a few requests for a Thai Jungle curry mix, this is at testing stage so i expect to see it live in a couple of weeks....its..er... hot !!!!!                                                                                            Also in the pipeline will be a butter curry mix, lots of people are asking for a blend to make a butter chicken curry, so we will start work on this one shortly. As usual you can find us at all our regular markets throughout the year. If you would like to pick up from our production kitchen at Lady Heyes, then please ring or e-mail to arrange.

 

 

Just a quick line to say we will be closed from April 16th to April 26th for a short holiday....i mean research trip. It's a a tough gig but someone's got to do it !!!
